Here I took in the entire vine, with a devilishly handsome model to provide a sense of size and proportion \ud83d\ude42 The vines in my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonwinemaker.com\/blog\/2007\/04\/21\/hello-world\/\">bonsai vineyard<\/a> look like this except that most of them are in 5-gallon plastic buckets. I think the terracotta pot makes the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonwinemaker.com\/blog\/2007\/05\/15\/pinot-noir-whats-in-a-name\/\">Pinot Noir<\/a> more photogenic.<\/p>\n<p>I took the photo on August 9, 2008, and you can see the grape clusters are still green. Now on September 1, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonwinemaker.com\/blog\/2007\/06\/23\/siegerrebe\/\">Siegerrebe<\/a> and Leon Millot are beginning to change color, but the Pinot remains stubbornly green.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I photograph my grape vines as closeups, so the leaves and clusters are clearly visible.
